NOW IT'S TIME TO GO!
Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
In the words of Matthew, we are to go and make disciples. This includes discipleship both in the teams we send from Changepoint AS WELL AS, making disciples of those where we are going.
We are very excited to be able to offer the following opportunities to our Changepoint whanau.

LOCAL OPPORTUNITIES
Our Father has asked us to influence our communities with the Gospel, in the power of the Holy Spirit and make disciples or Christ followers. We desire to take the Gospel to our community with acts of love, action and in wisdom, with the words of Christ.
Love our Community: Windermere
Reaching out to our neighbours and loving our community. If you have a heart for our community, prepared to act, do and say as Holy spirit leads and guides; with no agenda, only Christ – you are welcome to join us on a Wednesday night. Location tbc.
This group is outward focus, prayerfully looking at the ways and means to touch Windermere with His love and start of movement of the Gospel. We have been meeting strategically for a year and now feel it is time to open this group to our Changepoint whanau.

Des and Shona Canons were part of our church body many years ago and felt the Lord, through a variety of circumstances, call them to the outback of Australia. Not only are they blessed with many businesses in Laverton, God has opened up a huge door to pastor and shepherd the Aboriginal peoples. Jill Dunton first went to Laverton in 2015 and since 2016 has taken a few individuals to support Des & Shona in whatever is needed.

Thailand (Blitz) 3 – 10 August 2020 - Please contact Ruth Tuiraviravi (ruth@mayoandcalder.com) for more information.
Our founders Eddie and Bettie Cairns pioneered a work with the Asian peoples many years ago. This ministry to Thailand is an off-shoot of that. Our pastors David and Linda would love if could support this evangelistic work to bless the Thai peoples. PLEASE read further:
It’s time for Thailand. For change. For national reformation. For every level of society to experience the love and power of Jesus. We are close to the tipping point; the point when the whole nation will hear The Gospel - simultaneously in all the 77 provinces. The Blitz vision is a strategy to make that happen. Blitz is massive mobilisation; large number of people from different countries team up with Thai believers and together we share the gospel in schools, hospitals, prisons, government offices and market places - in all 77 provinces simultaneously.
Do you like singing or dancing? Are you good at playing soccer? Is your strongest gift to show love and care? Do you love teaching or preaching? You are wanted! There is room for you! Bring your gift and experiences to Thailand August next year and use it to bring Jesus to the most unreached country in South East Asia!
